This page is dedicated to our Draft Horses who are currently accepting applications for new forever familes. The decision to open your barn and heart to one of our draft horses is a serious one and shouldnt be taken lightly.  We expect our adoptive families to always put the horses first and do thier very best to ensure a long, happy life free of being shuffled from home to home, neglect or abuse. Nothing less is acceptable. Below you will find pictures and narratives about each available horse. If you see a horse you are interested in please fill out an adoption application and submit it, upon approval of the adoption application an appointment will be made for you to come out and meet that horse. IF you have a question or need more info about a horse please feel free to contact us and we will asnswer as many questions as you may have.

If you are looking for a quiet, beginner safe, riding draft and you see one listed, please understand these horses are in HIGH demand and normally have multiple applications submitted on them very quickly. We unfortunately do not always have horses who are safe for a beginner available, but check back often and we update this page as the horses are ready to interview families.

 

Baby Cakes

 Baby Cakes is a 12 year old Percheron mule mare who satands 16hh. She is trained to drive single, double and tripple, she is an excellent choice to use to help train green horses or mules to drive. She is very business minded when working and not spooky at all. She has been started under saddle but still needs to be direct reigned, she very willingly takes a rider and just needs a few more hours and some miles to finish her off nicely. She leads, stands, ties , bathes and loads and hitches without concern. She is current for all vaccines, is up to date on wormings, has a current neg coggins and has had her teeth floated.  Baby cakes adoption fee $300.00

 

Embarr

Embarr is a wonderful 17 year old mare who stands approx 16hands high. She has been extensively trail ridden and has a ncie mind to her. She clips, leads, stands, ties, and bathes like a lady. She does have more of a warmblood mentality so if you are looking for the bulk of a draft horse but with a little more spunk this is your girl! Embarrs adoption fee is $700.00

 

 

Patty

Patty is a wonderful mare who is a retired Amish work horse. She came to us as a slaughter bound horse who we saved from an unthinkable end. Patty has chronic Uvitis in both eyes, she has limited vision but enough to get her around her area without difficulty. She did drive although we have not driven her since she has been here as we felt she deserved a retirement. Patty is 12 years old, has a beautiful confirmation is a pretty girl. Once she is familier with someone she tries very hard to please, she is kind and gentle and would make a wonderful companion for a lonely horse. She is an easy keeper and is current for all vaccines, teeth float and has a current neg coggins. Her adoption fee is $100.00

 

 

Bella

 

Bella is a 12 year old Shire mare. She was a PMU line mare so she does havd a number brand on her hip. She is broke to ride and has been on trails. She is sweet and kind, she is looking for a family to love her as much as she will love them. This mare has a fantastic personality and is willing to try anything asked of her. She is up to date for all vaccines, Bellas adoption fee is $800.00

Bella Currently has 1 application pending on her adoption. Back ups are always welcome however applications are processed in order which they are recieved.

 

 

Bill

Bill is a 13 year old grey Percheron, he also is a previous Amish work horse. Bill has Melenomas on his penis and sheath and unfortunately it cannot be removed. Bill is timid around new people and would need one on one work to gain his confidence. He would be a good companion horse, he also is current on vaccines, tooth float and current neg coggins. His adoption fee is $0.00
