Instructions for completing our adoption application…..

Due to the high number of applications and requests for certain types of animals we recieve on a regular basis we are having to change the way we process them. If you are interested in adopting from us, we ask that you please print the following application out on your computer, please read the entire applications carefully, fill it out, have it notorized, attach the $5.00 donation (non-refunable) for the processing fee and mail it to. Florida Draft Horse Rescue at 768 Woodview Drive, Apopka Florida 32712 (note this is not the farm address this for mailing only).

The application will be processed and when it is approved you will be notified by phone, at that time we will review with you the available horses (especially if you listed a particular horse being interesting). If none of our available horses are what you are seeking your application will be filed into a 6 inch binder in the order which it was recieved and you will be notified by e-mail when a match to what you are looking for is available for adoption. All applications will be held for one year only. If you find that you are no longer interested in adopting a horse and your application is still on file with us please notify us and let us know and we will pull your application and shred it. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. We recieve numberous requests from folks on a daily basis to please keep thier number and let them know if a certain type of horse becomes available, we are no longer able to do that. If you are interested in being notified about available horses then please fill out an application and we will keep you informed.

We will not accept e-mailed or faxed copies of the application, or e-mail inquiries in place of the application process. All applications are processed in the order they are recieved and appointments to meet horses are made when applications are processed.
